WHOA!!!!

Starting Grad school in a week...Totally weird?!?!? Ive spent the last week dispensing of my indulgent vices, Food Beer and Laziness just to name a few. School will be my life once again and I plan to really get after it this time. Writing labs and Libraries are in my future. I want to improve my Scholarly skill sets! Writing used to be my job, though Ive been away from it for a couple of years now I feel that with practice i can jumpstart my brain back to its former non resonated and beer battered state. Yes, I know it will be difficult, but what isn't? Plenty of people have received their masters I see no reason why I couldn't do the same... With the support of my friends and family I'm sure I'll crush! Brokesville here i come!!!

Ian Participating its a regular thang these days its CRAZY.....

Its been over a month since i last posted and, I like the idea of a journal/record of my exploits as well as those of my cohorts, So im gonna try to stick with it... This is also an excellent opportunity for me to work on my writing/spelling, I figure if you out learning multiple languages i should at least get better at the only one i know...


Youll be proud to know that ive been climbing my ass off, i try to get 10 pitches in every day at sandrizzy ive been their four days a week for the last month and a half minus easter, I feel great about climbing, the whole experince has improved i feel more confident in my abilities, seldom does a move take more than a few try to figure outIm no longer afraid of 12's im actually kinda psyched on abandon ship, I got all the low moves/crux with some work but in the first sesh, Nic dispatched of the low moves really quickly but blew out before he could really give the headwall a valiant effort, but he did get to the face, noteworthy none the less... Ive got cruise this wired ive been cooling down on it, W I R E D... finally down climbed misty to the ground, oooh and johnny moved the anchors up to the lip, so misty is like three moves longer and 6 - feet taller, SOOO SICK, i totally sent SUper G twice last week, 3 hung bosephus on the onsight(crushed the crux got to the middle and couldnt find any holds (falling ensued) that rock camouflages the holds its crazy) ill get it next time for sure, and then its WHAMMY time, not bragging i just want you to know im trying to keep the bar UP for you, so when you get back we'll be Crushin, the only things i can think to write about relate to climbing my brain is is occupied so im going with it, lets see, Nic's project is fixin to get bolted KD is a beast hes gonna Crush... I hope he calls it Dream Crusher sooo sick im psyched to do it...

Climbing: Since i last wrote I ve been to Sandrock twice, first trip out i sent Muffins, Shut out, Heave Hoe, How's your love life all first try i waqas stoked, I got on Silk and money didi all the moves first try, fell due to pump of course, but it's gonna go fo shO!!! I got some TC Pros for $80 because of my 30% discount and that chair you gave me so i got the super duper deep discount and they're RAD, I also have som Optimus Primes on the way for the FREE!! from the BR Comp.... I gotta tell u about the SCC where to start..... they've had their feathers ruffled since you left, all posts without a name are to be deleted, and they reopened that sloperfest thread so Mike Schultz could weigh in...So i was being respectful because Brad Mc had called me and I wasn't gonna bust schultzy BUT then Michelle called MEEEEEEEGAN and says "How come Plemmons isn't being a smartass to schultz" Something along the lines of he says all this to us but wont say it to schultz so of corse I did...but i was respectful and he responded in rather condescending tone that HP40 was perfect ran perfect and couldnt be altered due to its natural and historically significant..... Most importantly he said that he wouldnt ban anyone for camping at steele so My quams have been laid to rest... So after all that I posted an event on the SCC called Hater Free Saturday which was for meegan and my birthday and it had two VIP guests that were Beefcake Shawn Centa and Johnny Wayne Arms, it was hilarious, BUT of course The Board got all WHAAAAaaaaa! Its silly.....


School: As Im requesting transcripts, my wonderful University informs me that i have 3 $50 parking tickets, so I had to write a letter to the sheriff and be all boo hoo yattatat blaatthahah bla.. and now instead of 150 i owe 75 so thats cool but igoota pay that shit before they'll release mt transcripts, so its gonna be a couple days before i get that ched... Im on it though i feel that i can surely apply for the spring semester with everything in order.....


Friends: Thomas has been out at Sandrizzle for the last two weekend as he brought the boys this past weekend and shawn brought his kids, It was a rad weekend apart from the rain and clouds that surrounded everything. Theyll both be out this coming up weekend for the HOedown... KD just built a wall fo that gym in Tyrone and he made 360 holds for the gym, So hes on top at the moment.... and he's calling me right now!! weird.... Where was I.... Nic is Nic hes been chillin we got on that project of his and made it to the arete so that was cool now we have to finish it, itll go!!! i almost died taking down the anchor i built because a foot hold blew apart it was really scary i got lucky and caught a jug..Whewwww!!!

Title sums it up..... that test was hard as balls lets just say it sucked but i don think i did too bad, relatively speaking ofcourse, right after that kick in the nuts came the phone call that Tim Plemmons, my father, passed away at 3:30 in the morning on monday, I had been avoiding phone calls for the past 24 hrs and of course it was for good reason none the less that chapter has closed and we're moving on with the application process, for the time being...................... Climbing lots and lots of CLIMBING!!!!

Where to start.... since i wrote last i began to study i lost the battle with beer, i climbed mt yonah also bouldered there on a different day, iv blown out evry climbing shoe i own, ohh yeah and when i was leaving here last friday to go meet KD and shannon at my parents house i was getting on 575, when i heard this thump clunck, noise from the roof one could call it a clatter, i digress anywho... got any guess as to what i had left on top of the car??????? not my sunglasses, not charlie, or obi, but Lauren's Mac book!!!! YUP im an idiot, talk about bummer i slam on the brakes look back just in time to see the car behind me run over it and i mean right down the middle of the damn thing, needless to say it F(*&%^&%*$&^KED soo that was cool, i just got that car to sell and whammy somethging to buy...I love Karma... fortunately im writing to you on the computer i got from my dad, who by the way is still kickin, its crazy a nurse called me the other day and was like yatta yatta your hes gonna bite it today for sure, and im like bummer, but that was days ago and hes still here, nuff about that..
Climbing: well KD is crushin we went to Yonah and he ate a bunch of hard shit, believe it not we both got shut down on a "3" silly... you remeber that thing we were lookin at just down from spiderman boulder well.... KD did it and its rad prolly 6 im hopin its more like 5 but we'll see ha also did a hardass line off that same low rail to a shitty hold, its called twisted rister..... Birthgay weekend comming up and we're gonna hit up the old sandrizzy, im psyched for some REEDS....(GEORGE MICHEAL JUST CAME ON PANDORA NEVER GONNA DANCE AGAIN IT MAKES ME SOO HOT IM SWEATING!!!) The hike t yonah wasnt too bad its weir going to a crag you can climb all over by clipping into cables that run allover the face WEIRD!!! How sick is that shit about the R&I article RAD!!!! i knew you'd get into climbing somehow, your Karma is too good, i hope you crush.... more to come gotta study... its going well, but certainky tough, less than 48 hrs now...... MEAT OUT!!!

....Im waiting on my breakfast Ramen to cool so i can eat it and i thought id recap on the riveting world of GA that you left. Greg and I went knoxville yesterday, i had to sign the cremation papers for my dad, although he is still alive he's barely hanging in.. For all the jondus jokes in the past, i feel as though karma said "you like bilirubin?" here your dad is YELLOW!!!! and i mean YELLA!!!
On a more positive note i took creggy to see that limestone wall i found and He's pysched, we didi a little more exploring and found a pretty sweeeet roof, that will totally go.... So that was rad, Its warming up here 57 is the high for the next few days. KD and I are headed to yonah tomorrow im gonna take him to the indian cave tonight, and Gregg an Pulie are coming up saturday and we'rre gonna go back to yonah and do some routes, needless to say Im stoked!!!!
Now onto your post...WHOA!! those pics are rad, Dad looks a lot like a Boran...Like you said he looks like both of them..WEIRD, and that weird rat thing Im proud of you for skinning a beast, all be it that it was a rat-like creature Id say that's WAAAAAY cooler than killing a chicken... When you learn to play the game Truco, dont beat the hell out of them immediately give it a little while.... of course youd turn a megadeath fan into a NOFX fan good job! The cow and the mazda that's priceless... So your drinkin Mate' you just think when you come back, you and P-dogg can pass the cup! SOOOO! VALENTINES day was aaaight! i went to the Boat and is was rad, we had a girl day... well lauren and julie and patricks new chica lyndsey climbed shannon was their but she forgot to clip her fingernails so she didnt climb but it was awesome having all the ladies out at the boat, the view has never been better, lauren got Zen slab, I got lost boys first try,patrick has apparently been workin it for three years, i gave him your beta and he crushed it 1st try!!!! i saw that chris catan lookin dude from escalade you know the short dude that i got intoit with about the WOseph at sandrizzy, anywho he did paintcan sit for the first time but he couldnt do watermelon so that was interesting to say the least.. 2 years ago today we did punk wave in tallualah after simo-soloing the "world's scarriest down climb"and then we had to bust ass home so i could take lauren out.. it was sick im sure you remember you led the route!!! Nic well nic was up late doing shit watchin tv slept till 1:30 and didnt go to the boat but why would he, i told you he'd quit when you left, im waitin on him to get up get out and get someTHIN!!!!!!! Tommorrow i stop drinkin(although tonight------ like right this second----- im drinkin) till im done witht the GRE on the 2nd... studying starts tomorrow and im watchin my parent s hous AKA WALLY from this friday through the next and then i take the test on the following tuesda odly enough they are going on a cruise in central america... ooooo!
